Was in the Keys and didn't do SPO when I got back, so 8/26 was my only day Spearfishing in the gulf this month. Viz off tarpon in 40-50' was 15-20' yesterday. Shootable viz and temp was 87-88 degrees. Lots of fish of multiple species.

Db, thanks for the report. Hope, you did well on the lobsters. None of my dive buddies wanted to go this weekend. We all know what the vis will be like after this Wednesday.

Lol! None!? I get it. Everyone waiting for gags. Had a big gag trip planned for Fri, but fishing. May still go on Sunday as it's fishing so viz not as important. This past Saturday was great and shot 13 fish and worked some rust off. Just Hogs and mangos, but great table fare and nice to shoot again. We did great on lobsters in Miami for mini and had a great 3 days of lobstering in southern Keys with one bad day for regular season, but nestled that off day in between 2 good dolphin fishing days so was definitely a charmed life.
