Free diving Lake Canyon
Dreaming for clear deep waters to dive, I can only find one or the other in Texas. A friend and I are diving Lake Canyon on a weekly basis using a kayak as a platform. Depths ranging from 30-80 feet. Visibility is about 10 feet then it gets cold and dark at about 30 feet reducing vis to around 4 feet. But at least its deep. If anyone is interested in joining give me a call. 713-410-0153.

Travis was about the same when I dove it about a month and half ago. It was probably 5' vis till you hit 30-35' then opened up to 20+ but its dark and cold. There is a good spot that you can drop a line 100ft + and be 50 yards off the shore.
