FII Level 1 diver seeking buddy around LA county (Santa Monica)

Hello,
I'm Trevor. I'm FII level 1 certified free diver, and have done a couples dives in Mexico also. (Cozumel and Angelita Cenote).

I'm looking to get in the water more often.

Seeking groups or a buddy to join on some dives around LA County or outside. Also looking for someone to do some pool training with. (I swim at Santa Monica swim center).

I'm currently not a spearo, but would be cool to learn. Currently focusing on building my comfort and bottom time.

Any help / guidance would be great.

Epic, I'll reach out. Where do you usually head to? Mostly spearing or just diving?
Been wanting to check out the pinnacles, but am unaware of the cool spots around Malibu etc. Chat soon.

Perfect, I'm scuba certified, but haven't done it in a while. I'll reach out via PM.

I'm level 1 myself and just bought a small inflatable I'm looking to get out on. 5626655673. I'm just getting into spearing myself. Maybe we can learn together. I still need to buy a small anchor and a couple of lifejackets but after that I should be good to go.

Hello. I usually dive further north (Monterey Big Sur) But have been going down there to SB Malibu and further south lately for the warmer water and search of potentially bigger fish. Could definitely use a dive buddy who knows some good spots around Malibu. I may be going this weekend again.

Cool, D.Dager / David Iskol in the thread will likely be best.

I'm more focused on just diving lately. I don't really know the good spear spots, but there's always people around County Line Surf Spot (Across from Neptune's net) in the weeds. Sometimes Leo Carillo. Best of luck.
