What is the best speargun go pro mount?

I have like 44inch Jbl magnum and I was wondering what was the best go pro mount for the gun or should I epoxy a standard go pro mount to my gun?

Gopro mounts are a tricky business.

They make snap on ones that clamp down on a barrel but I found that bands and rigging frequently hit the camera and loosened nuts etc...not ideal. Back to wearing it on my head...plenty of advantages and disadvantages there.

Main advantage - always looking where you are.

Main disadvantage - out of the water when you are on the surface frequently. Good luck.

I used a go pro head mount and a wave knocked it off my head and I lost my hero 5 off a shore dive so I just got a new one and I don’t wanna lose this one. Plus I want some speargun pov kill shots I think it would be dope

Scuba,

Wood euro style are easy. Do you have a reel in the gun? If so, most likely the reel is screwed into the bottom of the barrel. My suggestion is you get a short piece of material (aluminum, stainless, carbon fiber), drill to match the pattern of the reel and pinch it between the reel and the barrel of the gun so it sticks out sideways at 90º Then you just need to glue a GoPro base to that piece of material. If the camera gets in the way for loading, just remove it, load and attach it again.

Some goes just stick it on top of the loading butt, right behind the mech, but I feel it gets in the way for aiming.
