Spear Buddies wanted

Hey guys! I'm looking for some people (Man or woman) who spearfish and want to go out and split costs. I own a 17' Mako which does about 5.5gph (very good on gas). It fits 5 people but 4 comfortably with gear. It's usually me and a buddy of mine going out, but it would be ideal to find another 2 people to split the cost even further. My "area of operation" is from Miami Beach south, with the occasional trip to the Keys when finances are in order. We start the day at 6:00am in the Marina ready to go and we're usually back by 4:00pm. We do Bluewater for a few hours and depending on how it goes by 11:00am we're headed to the reef. We like spearing in about 40' of water but that can all be modified depending on the other peoples fitness level. Depending on where we're going and how many guys go, the cost per person is between $25-$60 (Obviously the $60 per head would be for something like a run to the lower keys or the west coast and the sort). Im not trying to make any money just trying to save some. If you're interested send me a PM and we'll plan something out. I try to go out 2-3 times per week, Mon-Sun.

I don't know if 4 scuba divers could fit comfortably in a 17 feet mako , , I'll like to join you on a keys dive but I just don't like spearing on 40 feet of water .

We free dive, but if you scuba Im sure we can fit one persons gear with out to much trouble. Like I said we to fish in about 40' but fishing in 30' or 20' isn't a problem. I usually head out of Dinner Key Marina, but I also launch out of Homestead Bay font if I'm trying to my spots around Pacific light. If I can get a couple of guys together not for this weekend but the following one we're trying to head out to Marathon. We were there this past sunday and had a really good time. You're almost guranteed to see a wahoo or some dolphin. We had a Marlin come up on unfortunately we can spear them (Bullshit. Anyway guys we'll talk and plan it out.

I work every other weekend and I'll be working on that weekend...

I do both Freedive and scuba but would rather freedive specially if with other people doing the same... So far my deepest has been 30 feet but with others I would like to try deeper!

I live in east broward so I'm willing to meet you down south but preferably not in homestead

Yeah we can def try deeper if you'd like to see what you can do. I'm confident that I can safely dive down to 80' with no problem and the other guy who usually goes is at about the same level as I am. We can go down with you the whole way. Maybe you can shoot for the big 50 lol. A lot of times I have another buddy that goes who's a paramedic down here, safety is key. The majority of the time I leave out of Dinner Key Marina (3400 Pan American Dr Miami, Florida 33133). Theres a pretty good chance we'll be going out on Thursday unless the weather blows. If you're free and would like to join, let me know. I don't know if we'll be doing any Bluewater on account of my buddy selling his gun to upgrade to another one though, but the reef is a definate go.

We always start the day off with some bluewater. I was in Marathon this past saturday and it was great. We're heading down there again next weekend so if you're interested shoot me a PM and we'll plan it out.

My buddy and I live in Orlando and are both freedivers. We are comfortable in 50' and could shoot from sunrise to sunset if others are willing . It's a bit of a drive but we are dying to get out on a boat again(we primarily do shore dives in the Vero area). We would probably drive down the night before and get a hotel room so we could be fairly well rested when we get to the dock at 6AM. We are both laid back and just looking to have fun and shoot fish. Safety is important to us, we dive 1 up 1 down. We'll be happy to split costs, be anchor bitches, bring ice/gatorades, etc. We are free Fri-Sun every week, and usually on Tue/Thur as well.
