Grand Isle Trip
We went out of Grand Isle this weekend. Got some nice red snapper, mangrove snapper, lemon fish, and grouper. Weather was great most of the time. I had ear trouble on my first dive and couldn't dive the rest of the time, so I only got a gag grouper. These are some of the underwater pictures. I will let Andy (Southern Cross) post the rest of the fish pictures since he got the big red snapper.

Re: Grand Isle Trip
The camera belongs to one of the other guys that went diving with us. Not sure exactly what kind it was but I will find out. I do know it is brand new, 5.1 mega pixel, and did not have an external strobe. This trip was the first time he got to use it. I was surprised at how good the underwater pictures turned out. Very little backscater on the close in pictures.

Re: Grand Isle Trip
Nice pic and report. I went out last week, to some clean clear water, The life on those "nasty oil rigs" is unreal, sometimes rivals the natural reefs.

Re: Grand Isle Trip
Where'd he get the housing? I've got a coolpix 3200. I saw a housing online for around $130, but I was a little leary.

Thanks for the ride, helluva trip. See if you can get that pic of the snap up here. How do you reduce file size to attach pics?
