No idea, although there was this video accompanying it, however it does not show this fish. Hunting method used may have been similar.

Those weren't big cats. I understand that when they get that big the meet tends so be kind of separated like the individual potions of a tangerine. You then have to get rid of the gamey connective tissue in between.
The connective tissue of a gator is much the same and has to be removed for optimal edibility...that and any fat.

Some guys here keep the big(20-30#)catfish to eat and say there is no difference in taste.My issue would be how much toxins are built up in a fish that big.Once a year would not be an issue but I would prefer smaller cats around 5-10#,lots of hushpuppies,BBQ Beans with chunks of bacon and some ice cold beer to wash it down.
Almost lunch time.
