BBO Opinion Thread

First off I want to state that I thought this year's tournament was great and the prize tent was top notch.

I was talking to a bunch of people at weigh-in on their opinions about which of the many formats the tournament has been held in over the past several years was their favorite. I wanted to start a poll with the primary focus of determining whether people liked the one-day or two-day format better.

Feel free to also give your opinion on other topics such as:
- Multi-day vs single-day (subject of this poll)
- Single tournament vs tournament series
- Weigh-in location (Palm Beach, Key Largo, St Pete)

Re: BBO Opinion Thread

I really liked the tournement Series. But I do understand that it dillutes the prize pool.

As for the localation. I think that the Palm beach location is a great venue, and the best we have used. I also liked the Key Largo location. The Port Richey location with no A/C in the summer would be miserable.

I like the 2 day shoot format. I'm not sure I could attend all of a "full series" format, and as for a location I would try something central to possibly attract shooters from Jax and mabey the Pan Handle. The building and facilities were fine at the current location, just a little far for people up north and northwest.

Love the 2 day shooting

Don't want a series again

Would like to see the weigh in the Orlando area to encourage more folks from both sides of the State (and maybe further, again) to shoot the tournament.

Re: BBO Opinion Thread

We def haven't seen the carolina shooters in couple of years. Woudl be good to get more folks from Jax and north invovled. Even if it does means stiffer competition.

Re: BBO Opinion Thread

I would personally shoot the tournament and would likely have other groups from carolinas interested if the weigh-in was in jacksonville instead. The current weigh-ins are tough for us to get to.
