If that second date has bad weather, then we'll just have a huge party at Ferg's Sports Bar on May 14th and still give away all of the prizes that our sponsors so generously donated. We have a few new additions to the tournament this year that should add some fun. 1. Any participant who completes an Early Registration will receive a complimentary long-sleeve performance shirt with tournament artwork in honor of our club's 20th Anniversary in addition to a discounted tournament registration fee. 2. New for 2017, the TOP FIVE aggregate shooters will get the fist five picks from the prize table. The remainder of the tournament participants will pick prizes in random order, as is tradition, with each participant having an opportunity to pick a prize. 3. New for 2017, the minimum length for hogfish will be 14" to the fork. Re: 2017 Tampa Bay Spearfishing Challenge Rules & Waiver
Due to the recent "endangerment" of the greater amberjack in the Gulf waters, the species will no longer be a target for harvest during this year's tournament.
For updated rules and regulations, see the attachment below. In summary, each tournament participant may still harvest one of the following under the Jack Category: -African Pompano, 24" (Fork) -Permit, 14" (Fork) -Jack Crevalle, 14" (Fork) -Almaco Jack, 14" (Fork)

Re: 2017 Tampa Bay Spearfishing Challenge Rules & Waiver
Hope to see everyone tonight 7:30pm Wednesday, April 12th for the TBSC Kick off Party at Ferg's Sports Bar. 1320 Central Avenue St. Petersburg.
Come register for the tournament and meet the TBSC crew, our awesome sponsors, world renowned spearfishermen and drink some beer! Remember early registration earns you a TBSC Challenge Performance Long-Sleeve so tonight is your last chance for early registration. I will dig into the prize vault for some great door prizes but must be present to win! See you at Ferg's! |

Re: 2017 Tampa Bay Spearfishing Challenge Rules & Waiver
Just a friendly heads up. "The King Of The Beach" tournament at Maderia Beach will be on sat. too. Suppose to be over 400 boats going for kingfish. Don't be surprised to see boats on every wreck. Also, lots of all different size boats trolling with long lines. Just be more aware of your "surroundings". Good luck to everybody!!!!
