I dove them on Saturday. As mentioned visability wasn't THAT bad out there. Saw small bass, and one fluke. Other than that, it was a good battle against the currents as the tide turned around. One bass yesterday with Connor, no sign of any Sakonnet scup though.

Dove Rockport Ma today, viz was "I can't see my hand" to 10-12 feet, go figure?

Filled the stringer with flounder and saw what I think was a Sculpin, a big eel in a hole, some shorty lobsters, and a nice 32"+ bass.

A big blue will really take you for a ride. I'm guessing my fish was about 20#, +/-, and it dragged me around every bit as much as a 40# bass!

Unfortunately I have to make a delivery in Newport tomorrow morning, so I'm gonna have to see if the viz is any better . . . sucks to be me!

Re: Daily Vis Report Thread

Dove the east end of the canal today. Saw alot of small lobsters and shot a couple flounder. Vis was 10-15 feet. I had a couple 30+ pound stripers come and check me out and I also bumped into the biggest tog I have ever seen but couldn't get a shot.

Re: Daily Vis Report Thread

Went out of Wetherill today. Viz still sucked, about 3'-5' on the incoming, it didn't change when it started ebb. Lots of tog around, the bass where there the viz made it tough though, you see nothing, then you think you see stripes, then a tail and its gone! I got a 30" and a 33".
Did see someone in a blue kayak freediving, but when I swam towards him he swam away. Guess he didn't like my rainbow dive flag? Haters . . .

Yeah, I do! It comes with the team XXL orientation package. Just don't ask about the initiation!
