Puertocitos Pictures...

Here are a few shots I took over the weekend. It was an awesome trip and we can't wait to go back down and do some more exploring. We are definitely looking forward to redeeming ourselves for the next tourney (hopefully around Memorial Day).

Thanks again for everything Dale. You really made us feel welcome. We really appreciated it. Sorry for destroying your tent bag. PM me your address and I'll send you a new one.

Jake

Oh yeah! Friday + Saturday total, I shot 2 nice Grouper in the 15-20 lb range, one grouper(much bigger)holed up on me and took my spear with it. I shot 3 fat snapper, 3 fat triggers and a few others.

Re: Puertocitos Pictures...

Is this the same fish? I asked the locals what it was and they told me it was a grouper, but I knew that was wrong.

That is a burrito grunt. Better known as a "Chopa." They are a good learning fish. Good sized, decent eating, big target to shoot at. Not so mean as to wreck your gear.
