I updated the website to include the link to real time data from NERRS.

Turbidity is couldiness of water. Seems really good right now!

Re: Updated TexasSpearfishing.com

Anything else you guys like to see on there? I used to update it all the time, but Office quit shipping Frontpage, and I lost my copy. Hand coding HTML sucks! I get tons of traffic from there and plenty of questions. Most time I send them here.

Re: Updated TexasSpearfishing.com

one suggestion I had and I get the question all the time is what fish can I spear. I'd like to get pictures and put together both a freshwater and saltwater "what to shoot" page

Game Fish (includes hybrids or subspecies of fish on this list):

* Bass: Guadalupe, largemouth, smallmouth, spotted, striped, white, yellow
* Catfish: blue, channel, flathead
* Cobia
* Crappie: black, white
* Mackerel: king, Spanish
* Marlin: blue, white
* Pickerel
* Red drum
* Sailfish
* Sauger
* Seatrout, spotted
* Sharks
* Snook
* Spearfish, longbill
* Swordfish, broadbill
* Tarpon
* Tripletail
* Trout: brown, rainbow
* Wahoo
* Walleye

Re: Updated TexasSpearfishing.com

If you do this you may want to show the difference in state water fish and legal fed water fish. Ie. Red snapper dont have a season in state but they do in fed, and you cant spear game fish in state but you can in fed...

Yeah it's a convoluted system.. I would probably try and make a PDF where you would have state fish, then fed fish. Which you could print out then laminate and stick in your suit or hole punch and attach some how. First would be a FISH ID chart like you've seen for Scuba. Then a handy dandy 3x5" cheat notes with State and Fed Regs on Each fish (limits, Size)
