New Dates for this years World Cup Spearfishing Championships. This years World Cup will be a four day tournament in the Sea of Cortez and Magdalena Bay. These locations are amazing and sure to produce great fish. You don't want to miss this tournament. Get a 3 man/woman team together and bring your "A Game". A good time will be had by all.

Re: 2020 World Cup Spearfishing Championships

OK,I tried to wade thru the details, no rules easily found (Not by me at least) Grouper, snapper, corvina (NOT Totuaba) other reef fish.... allowed?
By allowed: 1. Allowed for the tournament. 2. Allowed for take, but cannot be taken for the tournament.

It's the difference between finally going, or not. Me and mine really don't want anything to do with a gig where we can't take the reef fish for food, regardless of tournament eligibility. We were told years ago it was a no, and we since declined to go.....
But I see pics of grouper and snapper...... and now I am saying "Let's try and rethink this."
